Ethiopia
Ethiopia, often regarded as the birthplace of coffee, grows a variety of both Arabica and indigenous coffee beans, known for their fruity, floral flavors and complex profiles. Coffee is cultivated in highland regions such as Sidamo, Yirgacheffe, and Harrar, where the fertile soils, high altitudes, and ideal climate contribute to the beans' unique and vibrant tastes. Ethiopian coffee is often grown by smallholder farmers, many of whom follow traditional, organic farming practices.
